Overview

These terms describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the OtakuBestie website and buy from us. "We", "us", and "OtakuBestie" mean the business operating this site, and "you" means the person visiting or buying. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using the site

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order. You agree to give accurate, current, and complete information when you buy, and to use the site only for lawful purposes.

2. Our products

We try to show our products accurately. Colors can look different on different screens, and printed or embroidered items can vary slightly from the images. We may change or discontinue products, and limit quantities, at any time.

OtakuBestie products are independent, fan-created designs. They are not official merchandise and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any studio, production committee, idol group, or entertainment company.

3. Orders

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it for any reason, and your order is accepted when we confirm it. Every item is made to order, so we may be unable to cancel or change an order once production begins. Returns and replacements are covered only by our Returns & Replacements policy.

You confirm that your purchases are for your own personal use and not for resale.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. The price you pay is the price when you place your order, plus shipping and handling shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe, and by paying you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method. We do not see or store your full card number.

5. Shipping

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control. See Shipping & delivery for details.

6. Intellectual property

The site, including its text, images, graphics, and design, belongs to OtakuBestie or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or resell it without our written permission. OtakuBestie and its logos are our trademarks. Names and characters that inspire our designs belong to their respective owners.

7. Third-party tools and links

The site may link to or use tools from third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Using them is at your own risk, and their own terms apply.

8. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or other feedback, you allow us to use them in any way and for any purpose, without payment or obligation to you. You confirm you have the right to share what you send.

9. Errors

Sometimes information on the site, such as a description, price, or shipping charge, contains a mistake. We may correct errors and cancel or update an order affected by one, with a refund of anything you paid for a canceled order.

10. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• use the site for any unlawful or harmful purpose
• infringe our or anyone else's intellectual property
• harass others or send spam, phishing, or malicious code
• scrape, crawl, or collect other people's information
• try to interfere with or get around the site's security

11. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site at any time if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property and limits of liability, continue after termination.

12. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site and products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, OtakuBestie and the people and companies that work with us are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or products. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold OtakuBestie harmless from claims and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

14. General

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us. You may not transfer your rights under them; we may transfer ours. These terms are governed by the laws, and disputes by the courts, of the jurisdiction where OtakuBestie is headquartered.

15. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
